The Mud Monster

For President's Day weekend, Jen and I decided to be awesome. We drove down to Salt Lake and "hiked" to Ensign Peak. It may sound like it's really high, and a hard hike...but it's not. It's like walking up a hill. However, challenges were in front of us the whole time and we accepted them. The mud was a challenge we didn't see coming. It glopped to our shoes and brought uncontrollable laughter. It brought Jen to the ground at least three different times...covering her in mud. HILARIOUS. The rain and fog was foreseeable, but we didn't take preventative measures and just confronted it head first. Anyway, this is Ensign Peak...and the fog that was in Salt Lake Valley.
One of the many times Jen fell. She made lots of giggly-screaming noises. She became the Mud Monster...a suitable title for someone with mud caked to their butt...and hands...and boots...and knees.

This was a great idea I had. It was as Jen was getting up from falling, so I decided to take a picture, knowing she was going to end up slipping again. One of the best pictures I've ever taken followed, and I just love it.

Jen and I in the car afterwards. I was just loving it, and this is Jen's "why did I have to be the mud monster" face. It was a grand adventure.
