The past month has been pretty exciting and full of fun and extremely cold adventures. I will provide you all with some highlights (and lowlights) of the holidays and returning to the routine.
- Received an outpouring of holiday cheer and gifts from the students. It was so cute, and the best are the Belgium truffles I received. So yum. I also enjoyed the cute, uplifting picture books.
- Went to Red Iguana in Salt Lake. SO YUMMY! I recommend everyone should go sometime.
- Spent Christmas Eve with the Binks and enjoyed their Eve party. Pretty funny I might say. I learned two white elephant gift exchanges at the same party are going to be a problem.
- Spent Christmas day with my Mom and her side of the family. So nice, and I love the tradition of Christmas Bingo, especially now that my grandma gives gift cards instead of random junk.
- Spent the day after with my dad and his wife and my grandparents on that side and ate at Chili's, which is typical.
- Came back to the frozen land of Logan to buckle down for some negative degree weather days.
- Phish froze and was gone when we returned. :(
- My dad, his wife, and Scott came to Logan and brought us a fantastic heater, so avoid other frozen incidences.
- Saw Les Mis, and slipped on our steps coming back which led to a massive bruise, some cuts, and the loss of almost all of our free refill of popcorn. I'm still a little peeved.
- Started, and finished all of Once Upon A Time. (a high, and a low haha)
- Finished Seinfeld, which we started many, many months ago.
- Ian returned to school to finish the last 6 credits he needs to graduate, and I returned to the normal teaching routine
- I chopped my hair, leading to students making funny comments about how I'm still the same Mrs. Binks even if I look like someone else, and students being shocked with my hair cut. So funny.
