The End of the Best Years

That's right, my friends. College is over for me. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit sad about it. I love college, and I love Utah State in particular. It was the perfect place for me. The friends I have made here are priceless, as well as the adventures we have shared.

However, I no longer have to jump through flaming hoops while I teach at my internship. Now I just get to be a real teacher...sharing a classroom. Sort of real. Eh, close enough. Also, I have to find a real teaching job. Everyone has been asking where that will be, and I have no idea. I'm waiting for my dear husband to apply to grad schools and jobs in various states as well as decide about staying/leaving Logan and Utah. It is no fun, but I'm fine with not knowing right now.

In regards to graduating from college, it was the easiest semester for me. I had two big assignments, and I got exceptional ratings from my mentor teacher and my supervisor (hello fantastic letters of recommendations). It really makes you feel good about yourself. I am currently in love with 4th grade and how smart and motivated the students are (most of the students, so you know, 16 out of 29).

So for now, I will continue to work every day making half of nothing an hour while I finish out the school year and Ian finishes his last semester at Utah State. Life is good, and it's weird to have a college degree in my pocket.
