News and Life, Mostly.

Well, I'm terrible at updating this thing. I love reading blogs, but by the time I'm all caught up I have things to do and people to see.
Okay you caught me. Mostly I'm just lazy and tired and would rather watch Dr. Who or Seinfeld with Ian.
(P.S. Pictures to keep you interested!)

Did I mention I'm graduating in DECEMBER? Yep. So, that's neat...
At the USU Utah game and we were on the 15th row! Loved it!
Anywho. Life as a co-teaching intern/student teacher in 4th grade is awesome! The fourth grade team is great and I get to exercise my sarcasm skills and learn how to teach in a fun, engaging way. I couldn't have a better mentor teacher and I am lucky. LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY! First of all, I get paid to do student teaching...yes, I paid tuition but so does every other student teacher. Secondly, I get to be the real teacher in front of the class and behind the scenes and go to ridiculously dull meetings that are always at the worst time possible.

The students are great. I know my class and the neighboring class so well and all 58 students are so great to know and most of them do ridiculous things that make me laugh, or make me wonder how they could be so smart. I won't mention the frustrating times because they don't exist...
The 80's dance. We love the 80's dance more than anything else.
So mostly, I spend my days with kids teaching, and my evenings with my magnificent husband. We both feel like we got robbed of our senior year because I'm never on campus and he's only there for an hour a day so we miss out on all the free food and the great chill sessions that happens. Welcome to being a grown up, I guess.

The weekends are great because we always do exciting things, even though summer is apparently over. For example, labor day weekend we ran the Man vs Mud 5k, went to Kneaders with Ian's family, watched the Amazing Spiderman (really good!), went to Roy to see my family and did laundry, slept in, played games, and went boating all day Monday with my family and Ian's family. It was a grand time.
Alexis and I at the mud run!
Oh. We went to the USU Utah game. Remember that? We stormed the field in the great win...only because Ian hadn't ever done that before.

What I Am Is: The song we taught the 4th graders and it's sooooo great to watch them sing and dance to it. You don't even know.
