| Good morning Cache Valley! |
Alright, so this past Saturday, we got up and ready by 6 AM...which is quite a feat in an of itself. Ian and I met up with Jaron and went to Deep Canyon in the Wellsvilles so we could hike to the peak. It was a really fun adventure, and a really sore and painful adventure. The beginning was super neat because the forest and vines reminded us of the East Coast, definitely not Cache Valley. We finally made it to the saddle, and I hid behind a rock to rest, hide from the wind and eat some red vines (best hiking food everrrr).

We then hiked across mountain ridges, ended up on the wrong trail and scaled the mountainside to the top of the ridge again, and continued hiking. I swear we hiked across like 4 mountains on the top. Then we made our final, and steep ascent to the peak, where we ate lunch and watched the clouds. It was amazing to see all of Cache Valley and all the way to the Great Salt Lake!

| This is when Ian reminded me I'm married to a bum forever. He got a haircut afterwards. |

Hiking down is normally easier for me, but because it was so steep, it killed my legs and knees. Jaron is Army strong and didn't seem to struggle, but even Ian showed some weakness (although not as much as me) on the way down. It was definitely an unforgettable hike!
P.S. I start my internship tomorrow and couldn't be more excited/nervous/every other emotion out there. Hopefully it goes well.
I'm feeling a little jealous... I never made it to the top of this one. We cut out early to make it to a football game and never attempted it again. So sad. :( What a beautiful way to start the weekend.
