5 Months of Bliss

Oh hey world. Still not dead, just busy living the life a boring grown up and an almost graduated student!

Teaching is going great! I still love it, even when I have to deal with whining, complaining, fake illnesses, real illnesses, bullying, lethargy, add, adhd, and so much more. I am teaching all of science, the math enrichment group, fluency and comprehension groups during guided reading, and 2nd grade guided reading. I really like teaching all of it too! And I love fourth grade. They're fun, and funny.

Funny story regarding fake illnesses. One boy is always saying he's sick of something or other. During my comprehension group he holds his side just below his ribs and wails out that he's wheezing. Please believe I am STILL laughing about it. After he said that, we talked about what wheezing actually was...so then he started coughing and holding his side. It was so funny.

Also, I'm almost done with my unit I have to turn in, my portfolio that's the biggest deal and largest project in order to graduate, and I only need 3 supervisor observations and 1 co-teacher observation. Sweet. The end is in sight...finally.

In regards to the title of this post, I have been married for a whole 5 months today. It feels like so much longer, and also just like yesterday at the same time. It's been the best time of my life though, so I love it!

And....It's FALL BREAK! YAY! Yesterday, I caught up on homework and worked on my portfolio, we cleaned and waxed the car and went to Gia's for a cute date night. (follow me on instagram for my sweet pictures of these adventures.. jarjarbinks13) Today, we're going down to Salt Lake to go to UEA...bleh. Also, we're going camping with Ian's family! We're going to Kodachrome State Park and we're excited. I'm not excited for the cold though.
