We had a fabulous fourth of July weekend! Originally, we were going to drive to Seattle, to look at some apartments. We started the drive, got to Tremonton and realized we forgot the checkbook (which means we couldn't get an apartment), turned around to get it, and after a lot of advice, decided to stay in Logan and not worry about finding a place to live that weekend.
Well, it turned out great for us! On the 4th, after we unpacked, we lounged around and watched lots of Parks and Rec. It was so wonderful to sit and not worry for a few hours. That night, we went to the Hyrum fireworks show (we had gone last year) and sadly, it was very disappointing. It was only 11 minutes long and some of the big fireworks accidentally exploded on the ground. Boo. Oh well.

On the 5th, Ian had gotten work off so we could go to Seattle, so we went to Bear Lake with our friends. It was a blast! It was the first time for me to actually swim in Bear Lake since I've moved to Logan, and it was surprisingly warm! Also, the beach at the North Shore is the best. Literally. We played games in the water, floated on our tubes, and I took a nice long nap on the beach. We then went to LaBeau's of course, and enjoyed a delicious dinner and raspberry shake before heading back home.

On the 6th, we had another adventure! We all went out to porcupine dam. We found a nice shady spot to set up, and then we slowly made our way across the much colder lake. We watched people cliff jump and laughed and had a blast. Once back, we talked and listened and just enjoyed ourselves. It was also the weekend of the Cache Valley Cruise-In, so we made our way to main street to watch all the neat and retro cars. It was so cool to watch! It was so incredibly nice to have a weekend full of fun and no stress.

| This was sort of a last-time hang out before Jaron leaves for training on Friday. Go Army. |

P.S. As of this week, we have found an apartment only two miles from University of Washington and we're moving in two weeks! Ahhhh.
