Spring Break...sort of.

Well, it is definitely spring in Logan and I am loving it! I go places without my jacket. Sometimes I even drive around with my window down. I am enjoying the weather...not the work part though. We're in Logan because...Ian has to work 8-5 every day. Real jobs stink. I also train for my new job, and am working Thursday and Friday night. I really hope things go well. Otherwise, I wish I was in Arizona or Disneyland or Escalante soaking up some sunshine. (stay tuned for a post about the upcoming weekend spontaneous trip!)

I miss summer, tandem bikes, and Catalina Island.

Breaking news...WE FOUND OUR HOME! Yes, the day has come finally. Ian and I now have a place to call our home and it's perfect in every single imperfect way. First off, it's less than 1/2 a block from the temple. I would have never DREAMED we'd found our first home there, but I feel so so lucky. 2nd: it's a fantastic price! We scored. 3rd: it's in a 100 year old house, part of the Logan Historic District! It may be small, but I don't care (yet). Yes, our apartment does indeed have a secret passageway from one of the closets. SO NEAT! And it has cute shelves and stuff. And lastly, they're remodeling it! We get a brand new fridge, brand new carpet, new paint, etc. SO exciting! Maybe you all out there aren't excited but I sure am! It's everything I imagined my first cute married apartment would be and so much more! :)
