One day, we had to put the house on the market, and therefore we had to paint our rooms to make it marketable. That was killer. It was like painting over a part of myself.
A few years later, the opportunity arose again. Being more sophisticated and more skilled, well...I just did whatever crazy thing I wanted. I ended up painting bright green, turquoise blue, magenta, and an orange in various sized circles on one of my wall, and I did a cute border using those colors on remaining three. This week, I had to paint over that again. It wasn't as hard emotionally, but still. I have decided from now on, I will only paint colors on walls that are marketable.
This is my room when I first painted it. The border covers the other two walls as well.
This is the circle wall primed. Think it looks blurry? It made your eyes hurt.
And this is the wall now. SO boring. It's a beige-ish color. Oh well.
So yes. Yay painting adventures. Drop clothes are always a good thing to have, in case you were wondering. I did not listen to that advice, and have bright orange dots on the carpet. Win.
