What I Learned My Freshman Year

• Utah State University is a perfect fit for me
• I have not been in a blizzard, despite what it looks like
• Just because someone is mormon, it doesn't mean they act like it
• I love eating snow
• I love Sammy, Nathan, Kent, Keith, and Joey. So much love
• I love bowling. and Katie, Tyler, and Cody. laughlaughlaugh.
• living on-campus bites
• Work can be fun, if you make it fun
• Pie Wednesdays are why my weeks are so happy
• I love my family
• Dragons are the shiz
• It's better to be outgoing and go places, than to stick around in your room
• Traditions are awesome
• Basketball is just as big as Texas football
• Jello is delicious
• On-campus food gets old
• RA's are a freshman's worst nightmare
• Just because you are close to the temple, it doesn't mean you will go often, or at all
• Naps are my best friend, and how I can make it through the week
• If you are going to talk on the phone, just leave the room
• If you are hesitant about doing something, do it anyway and regret it later
• Aggie ice cream isn't all it's cracked up to be
• However, squeaky cheese is the bomdotcom
• Free concerts are the place to be (or cheap concerts)
• Slurpee runs are always the highlight of my week
• Finals week always suck.
• Don't go to bed before midnight. Just don't.
• It's okay to call in at work sick. They actually care about you and want you healthy.
• The more spontaneous something is, the better.
• Skipping classes that are unimportant always leads to an adventure or happy times.
• Home seems so far away, but family is always nearby :)
• Bejeweled. 'Nuff said.
• Driving with a friend is just the greatest
• There is different kinds of snow
• Making caramel apples in a microwave is awesome
• The boys of 304 are the best ever
• You should clean even if it sucks. it comes back and bites at the end
• Be obnoxious, you'll remember the good times forever
• Even if it seems scary, it will always be a great experience
• The mail comes between 10 and 10:30
• Typos are misleading. Ex: Midnight Pizza vs Mid Night Pizza
• Clean the sink.
• There is always a church building in site
• The view from the top of a mountain is breathtaking and priceless
• Paydays are the time to celebrate
• Be prepared to register for classes, and have backups. It's a stressful process
• True aggie night is unforgettable, and silly
• 5k's are easiest at midnight
• Paint fights are the best use of time ever
• Best friends are hard to come across, but they are there
• Roommates are the best, and the worst. You just have to find the one you connect most with
• Runs to taco bell/jamba juice make for great nights
• The canyon is a great place to go to get away for a bit
• It can snow all school year. September-May. It most likely will happen again.
• Duct tape can solve a multitude of problems
• Douchebags are easily identifiable
• Don't take classes after 3, they are of the devil
• Try to not skip institute
• Friday nights are the nights you should never sleep through

I know I learned so much more, but I have been working on this for a week and can't handle not publishing it anymore.  If i think of more things, I will add them. I have loved the past 8 months of my life in Logan, and would never ever replace the experiences I have had.
