I love Love.

We're back! I'll give a short recap of our awesome adventures.
On May 18, 2012, we got married for time and all eternity in the Bountiful, Utah temple. Although it stormed (texas-style) in the morning making the drive frantic and sweaty, we made it, and had a beautiful day. Thanks so much to everyone who participated, came, supported, and even sent us lovely notes and gifts. You have made us feel so very loved and we are very grateful.

On that note, we're still waiting for wedding pictures...so excited!

We went off to Disneyland and the warm sunshine state! It was a blast! We got upgraded to a presidential suite on the first night and it was super fun and exciting, and four times bigger than our apartment. We were bummed we had to get up early to drive to California.

The first full day, we went to Huntington Beach. We laid in the sun and enjoyed being warm, then Ian made me go in the icy water and I followed because I sort of like him (a lot). We got delicious fish tacos and walked along the beach. It truly was a beautiful and very relaxing day (minus the sunburn that is still tormenting me).

The next two days we spent at Disneyland and California Adventure. So fun. Ian is the biggest Disney fan I have ever met and it made it even more fun. We dominated the rides and lines with fast passes and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a great place to go and be. Hello, it's magical!

We then drove to Vegas and stayed a night, because I've never been. We walked on the strip and I was surprised to find that it wasn't as dirty as I had heard it was...but maybe that's because it was during the work week. It was fun, and the weather was perfect (85 degrees at night!)!! Ian was hot.

Lastly, we drove back to Utah, had a gift-opening party with our families, and ate leftover wedding cake..so yum! Now we've unpacked and are getting settled in and used to married life. We even went to the married student ward today and had a good time. I know two people in the ward so that was a nice surprise.
