Tricky Thursday.

This week has been full of curve balls. So it's been fun...or something.

  • I went to my first Jazz game, and really liked it. It's probably because the fiance was so into it, but don't tell him that.
  • I aced two level III tests this week. That certainly feels good.
  • I'm becoming pretty good at whipping up lesson plans.
  • Jen had surgery today, and has a plate and a couple of screws...she is now a tin man (or woman). Anyone know if she'll set the metal detectors off at the airport? haha. She should get a cast next week.
  • Jay Ashford, the best home teacher ever, the man who took us to the Blue Bell Factory after our house flooded, and baptized me and Jennifer, passed away this past weekend. It was really sad. He's a fantastic man.
  • Another sad note, Shelbie, who has had two extra chances of life (survived an attack by a dog, and able to function with medicine), is going to be put down tomorrow. She's not eating, can't stand up for long, and her arthritis medicine isn't working. It's way sad because I remember the years of "puppy-dog pyramids" and begging for a puppy, naming Shelbie and playing with her as we grew older. She's been a great dog and a huge part of my family.
Okay. Sorry. That's a lot. But life goes on. I hope everyone else has a grand week. Until then, adieu.

hahaha this makes me laugh.

  2. Okay.
    1) I'm sorry about Shelbie :( that made me sad.
    2) That picture of you and Ian is super cute.
    3) My sister's plates/screws in her feet don't set them off so hers probably won't either. I guess they don't pick up stuff that low hence why you have to take your shoes off!

Haha that was a really random comment but you know how it goes.

    Love you!
