Well. The first week of school went decently well. I'm taking 17 credits so it's super hectic and overwhelming, but I can manage. Three of my classes have practicum required for them so that will be interesting. I get to relearn to play the recorder for my music class. Let's be honest, this semester is super stressful, I'm not sure why it's more than normal but oh well.
Labor Day weekend was amazingly awesome. We rocked the 80's dance and it was so great. Ian and I went to a sweet wedding reception and ate so much junk food. Monday was great and we went to Park City and did the alpine slide and alpine coaster. It was a blast. This weekend really was awesome, past the point that words can describe.

On a not so happy note, home (ATX home) is on fire. Literally. And it breaks my heart. The home teachers I had growing up just found out their home has been burnt to the ground. The place we used to go camping for mother-daughter campouts is gone. A whole state park. My entire stake is being affected by these crazy fires. I can't really do anything but keep the 512 in my prayers.
Sorry this is such a vague update, but I blame the fact that it's 8:30 in the morning and overcast and cold.
Who lost their home? I hadn't heard of anyone yet. Looks like you are having a blast!! Live it up!!!
